Great photos = great sales.

Listings with 6+ photos sell 4.2× faster than those with one. Here's how to shoot like a pro with the phone in your pocket.

Photo tips for sellers
The basics

Five things, in order of importance

Natural light, no flash

Shoot near a window in the morning or late afternoon. Phone flashes flatten textures and create ugly shadows. Never use them.

Plain background

White wall, beige carpet, or wooden floor. Hide the clutter. The item is the hero — give it space.

Six angles minimum

Front, back, both sides, top-down, and a close-up of any defect. Honesty builds trust and prevents flake-offs.

Use the grid

Turn on your camera grid (Settings → Camera). Centre the item. Crooked horizons look amateurish.

Crop, don't filter

Use the built-in crop to tighten the frame. Skip filters — buyers think you're hiding the actual colour.
